Dr. Stefanie Shustek founded TrueCare DPC on a simple principle: time is the most valuable tool in medicine. By keeping her panel small, she ensures every patient receives the unhurried, personal attention that primary care was always meant to be.
A board-certified family physician rooted in Kansas City, Dr. Shustek cares for patients of every age — from newborns to grandparents. She combines evidence-based medicine with a holistic, spa-like experience that treats the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Membership includes one Comprehensive Annual Wellness Assessment, comprehensive laboratory panel, and a personalized wellness plan annually. Adult and dependent sick visits are available for a flat rate of $35 per visit, payable at the time of service. Annual enrollment fee. Memberships are HSA/FSA eligible. We do not bill insurance.
Simple access for everyday needs.
Comprehensive care when your dependent needs more. TrueCare DPC members may establish care for up to two dependents, ages 0–26. The level of care depends on whether the dependent needs occasional sick care only or ongoing medical management.
Sick-Visit Dependent Care
Included with an active member’s annual membership.
- —Up to 2 dependents, ages 0–26
- —$35 per sick visit
- —For generally healthy dependents who need occasional acute care
- —Examples: colds, flu symptoms, sore throat, ear infections, minor rashes, urinary symptoms, pink eye and other short-term illnesses
Annual Dependent Membership
For dependents requiring ongoing or comprehensive care.
- —Chronic disease monitoring and management
- —Ongoing prescription or medication management
- —Routine follow-up for ongoing conditions
- —Annual wellness and preventive care
- —Personalized care planning and comprehensive bloodwork
Who needs the annual dependent membership?
A dependent should be enrolled when their care requires ongoing monitoring, medication management, routine follow-up, or management of a chronic or complex condition. Examples may include diabetes, thyroid disorders, ADHD, anxiety or depression, asthma, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, hormonal conditions, or other conditions requiring ongoing management.
How it works
When establishing care, TrueCare DPC will review the dependent’s healthcare needs. Dependents who only need occasional acute sick care may use the sick-visit benefit. If ongoing medical management, chronic care, preventive care, or medication management is needed, the annual dependent membership provides the appropriate level of care.
